Update: Bacon Donut reached his goal of $100,000 in donated funds towards his charity event, and will indeed, legally change his name to “Bacon Donut.”

Originally spotted via Twitter, regular Twitch streamer, Bacon Donut, is willing to legally change his name to Bacon Donut should his St Jude charity stream claims $100,000 in donated funds.

VG News Wire has reached out to Bacon Donut for confirmation regarding the tweet. Bacon Donut has responded via email and has provided a swift response, “Yes the name change is true. I expect to hit the goal in the next two hours.” As of the time of this reporting, the livestream event is currently $6,000 away from $100,000. 

St Jude is an organization which aids children in their fight against cancer and other life threatening diseases, and has never denied services to those who seek help.
