Most anticipated games of 2016

The VG News Wire staff shares their most anticipated video games of 2016.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End – David Quigley

After playing through the remastered versions of Uncharted on PS4, and with Assassin’s Creed potentially bumped from 2016, the game I’m most looking forward to is Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Every Uncharted game is full of cinematic feel, big action setpieces, and end to end one-liners from Nathan Drake himself. I’ve become invested in the story of Nate and Sully and Elena, and I’m ready for one more (final?) adventure.

Ratchet and Clank- Dawson Helton

After seeing trailers and reading preview articles, I would have say that Ratchet and Clank is the game I am most anticipating. Ratchet and Clank was a franchise that I enjoyed in Junior high and every installment seemed to be better than the last, that was until the PS3 games. Seeing that this is a reboot of the franchise and Insomniac is bringing back the original game with modern designs and more content may bring back the original series, jokes and all.

Yooka-Laylee – Peter Lopez

I’ll never forget the moment when I first seen Yooka-Laylee in action. “It’s just like Banjo-Kazooie,” I said to myself after watching the debut trailer via Kickstarter. Some may think being similar to Banjo-Kazooie is a negative thing. To me, on the other hand, that very thought excites me to no end. Although this title has yet to receive an official release date, I can only expect it do be great, especially when ex-Rare developers are taking their time with the video game.
