The world lost a pop culture icon this week in the name of Stan Lee. The man who was part of building the Marvel Comics Universe and most of its characters to what they are today. In recent years before his passing Stan Lee was known for his cameos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films like Iron Man, The Avengers and Spider-Man: Homecoming. In addition to his movie cameos, Stan Lee also did numerous video game cameos as well. In honor of the man he was and is, here are the best video game cameos that Stan Lee did in no particular order.
Insomniac’s Spider-Man was recently announced as a Game of The Year nominee and with motion capture like this, it’s not hard to see why. This cameo is a bit short but feels like it could be in one of the Marvel movies due to its graphical fidelity. The line Stan delivers also carries weight since he was the co-creator of Spider-Man and would know which partner suits him best.

“True Believers!” “Excelsior!” If you ever had Stan Lee narrate a story for you, then chances are those words would appear somewhere in the narration. His genuine love and enthusiasm for the character is apparent here and can also be heard in the 2000 Spider-Man game, here.
In Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 Stan Lee, like in his other cameos, plays a fictional character named Senator Lieber. Ultimate Alliance 2 centers around the “Civil War” story arc where superheroes had to register to continue their heroism. As a Senator Lieber gets to interact with most of the heroes even though it isn’t much.
Stan Lee’s other video game cameos include The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Marvel Super Hero Squad and many others.
