Amy Hennig’s Story For Star Wars Gets Shelved

If EA shutting down Visceral Games’ Star Wars and changing its “story-based, linear adventure game” to something that “players will want to come back to and enjoy for a long time to come” wasn’t enough then they also won’t be using the story that Amy Hennig had written for the same Star Wars game during her time with Visceral.
To clarify, I left EA six months ago, shortly after the closure of Visceral (along with most of the team). The story we were crafting has essentially been shelved, but EA Vancouver’s Star Wars game is still very much alive, and I wish my colleagues there nothing but the best. https://t.co/fjQkUQat7F

As we reported last year, Visceral Games’ unnamed Star Wars game will now be made by EA Vancouver. The studio is known for making sports games like FIFA, and NHL and it seems like the game might be an online multiplayer one.
