Bethesda confirms early download for Fallout 4

Bethesda will allow individuals to preload Fallout 4 “a few days” before launch.

The sooner the better

Individuals who wish to digitally download Fallout 4 prior to its release will be given an opportunity to do so “a few days” before launch, Bethesda Softworks confirmed on Twitter.

At this time, the digital file size for Fallout 4 is currently unknown and will likely exceed 25GB. Once the title has been downloaded it will become playable on launch day.

Those who preorder Fallout 4 on Xbox One will be given a digital code for Fallout 3, which is to be utilized in Xbox One backwards compatibility mode. Individuals who preorder the video game on PlayStation 4 will acquire a special Fallout 4 theme.

Fallout 4 is set to launch on Nov. 10 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC.
