Update 2/16/16 3:40pm: Clark responded to our request for comment, saying in part, “I’m not ready to discuss it yet.” When he is ready to talk about the DLC, you can be sure to find that news here on VGNewswire.net.
Ryan Clark, designer for Crypt of the NecroDancer, announced today in a Twitch channel chat that he is preparing upcoming DLC. Clark was viewing a CONDOR (Crypt of the NecroDancer Online Racing) race, which just started its fourth season. Clark informed the other viewers that he was leaving the chat to get to work on “DLC PREP,” and that they (Brace Yourself Games) will be searching for a programmer from the community.
Crypt of the NecroDancer left Steam’s Early Access in 2015 and launched this February on PlayStation 4 and Vita. We reviewed the game here at VG Newswire, giving it a 9.5/10, calling it a “brilliant melding of genres executed to near perfection.”
We have reached out to the developer for comment and will update this story with any response.
