Video game developer and publisher Microsoft has revealed today that its world-building, ever so popular title, Minecraft, has reached an all-new milestone.
According to a press release issued by the company, Minecraft has sold over 121 million units to-date, with “55 million unique monthly players.”
Minecraft is currently available on current-gen and last-gen systems, and aims to release on the Nintendo Switch sometime in the near future.
Microsoft purchased Minecraft for $2.5 billion in 2014, and has since licensed the intellectual property to other platforms, including rival systems.
