Pokemon TCG Battle Academy Announced for Aspiring Trainers

Pokemon Battle Academy aims to teach aspiring trainers how to play Pokemon TCG.

The Pokemon Company International announced today a brand new board game which aims to teach aspiring trainers to play Pokemon TCG.

According to The Pokemon Company International, Pokemon Battle Academy will be available on June 21 exclusively at Target and will release elsewhere on June 31. We have reached out to The Pokemon Company International regarding a price tag and was told that it has yet to be announced at this time.

Included in the Pokemon Battle Academy board game will be three 60-card decks, gameplay accessories, and tutorial guides. Codes for those more interested in playing Pokemon TCG digitally will also be included, which you can then play on iOS, Android or PC via the official Pokemon Website

“Battle Academy is designed to be easy to learn and fun to play for all types of Trainers, including children and parents that may be new to the Pokemon TCG,” said Senior Director of Consumer Marketing at The Pokemon company International, J.C. Smith.
