Rocket League coming to retail shelves

You can grab a disc copy of Rocket League later this year.

Psyonix’s hugely popular Rocket League will no longer be a downloadable-only title. Rocket League: Collector’s Edition is scheduled for a third quarter 2016 release. It will include the three paid DLC packs, Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run. The one-off cars like the DeLorean and Batmobile are not said to be part of this package. Additional retail exclusives are planned.

Rocket League launched in July 2015, and made it’s way to Xbox One in February 2016. VG News Wire praised the Xbox version in our review, calling it “one of the most addictive games out there,” while conceding that the Xbox’s lack of cross-platform play will always leave a smaller player pool.

Are you willing to double dip to show Psyonix how much you love Rocket League? Tell me why or why not in the comments below.
