SteamWorld Heist DLC announced, launching this week

Image and Form announce SteamWorld Heist DLC, launching this week for Nintendo 3DS.

According to independent game studio, Image and Form, SteamWorld Heist is set to receive its very first piece of DLC named, The Outsider, which is scheduled to launch on April 28 for Nintendo 3DS.

The Outsider will retail for $4.99 and is said to include a brand new character that goes by the name of Fen: “the latest member of your Heist crew, and the most unlikely of allies. A Vectron outcast, Fen breaks the ties to the hive mind and becomes one of your most formidable fighters.” The new piece of DLC will also include a “new plot, missions, enemies, end boss, guns, utilities and dozens of new hats.”

Alongside the release of brand new DLC, SteamWorld Heist will also launch a free update for the video game that will include multiple languages, such as: French, German, Italian, Spanish or Russian. The new update for SteamWorld Heist will also provide gamers with additional inventory slots at cheaper prices.

SteamWorld Heist released on Dec. 10, 2015 for Nintendo 3DS and is said to launch on additional consoles, however, console release dates have yet to be mentioned.
