The Division 2 has been announced by Ubisoft. Lead developer Massive Entertainment will lead development of the sequel, as they did 2016’s original The Division.
No specific details are known beyond the developer and the game’s existence. The game will be shown at E3 in June.
Before the sequel launches, The Division will receive two more patches. Each patch will rework a pair of existing missions to Legendary difficulty. The first will come out in April alongside the Xbox One X patch, and the second will add challenges that unlock content in the upcoming sequel.
