Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 are coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 4, Activision announced today.
“The original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series is a big factor in the evolution of modern skateboarding tricks and inspiring many of the pro skaters you know and love today,” said Tony Hawk in a press release. “I’m excited to help inspire a new generation of skateboarders and gamers – and existing fans – to grow the sport even further.”
Coming to the remake are features from across the franchise like wall plants, lip tricks, revert, and original multiplayer game modes — both online and local play. Create-A-Park and Create-A-Skater are also said to return, along with iconic songs the original franchise and classic pros like Bucky Lasek, Geoff Rowley, and more.
“Getting the chance to bring back the original two games which had such a meaningful impact not only on gaming, but on an entire sports genre, has ben an epic experience for our team, many of whom worked on the original series,” said Studio Head at Vicarious Visions Jen Oneal. “We’re taking what you knew and loved from the original games and mixing that with enhanced creative tools which will allow gamers to invent brand new ways to play the game they love.”
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 are set to retail for $39.99, with a digital deluxe version for $49.99 and a collector’s edition for $99.99. For more information, feel free to click the following link.
