Ubisoft, along with Xbox and ESL have announced Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Pro League competition starting the first week of March.
The first season of the pro league will debut on March 4 at the Intel Extreme Masters in Katowice, Poland for PC and will reach North America and Xbox platforms a few weeks after.
Season one of the competition will have a prize pool of $100,000 along with support contribution. At the end of the season, the top teams from Europe and North America will be able to compete at a live event for the grand prize of $50,000 for both PC and Xbox.
“Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege was built from the ground up with competition in mind,” said Xavier Marquis, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege creative director at Ubisoft Montreal. “We’re excited to partner with ESL, one of the biggest names in eSports, to deliver a league for Rainbow Six Siege fans to compete and enjoy the game they love.”
