Sharefactory, the program on PlayStation 4 that allows players to edit recordings of their games, is updating today. New features include replacing the previous Commentary Track, used to record voice over for videos, with a Track 2, which allows greater flexibility. Rather than being limited to audio, this second track can be used for picture-in-picture and side-by-side video layouts.

Video commentary now supports Chroma-key, known commonly as green screen. This allows players to choose a background color to remove from their video, enabling users to drop video on top of their gameplay without having the background walls visible.

Additionally, video exports can now be up to 60 minutes long, up from the previous limit of 40. New music tracks and video filters are also available.
