Nintendo reaffirms Star Fox Zero release date and confirms amiibo support

Star Fox Zero is coming in April with amiibo functionality.

Video game developer and publisher, Nintendo, has just reaffirmed the release date for Star Fox Zero. 

According to Nintendo, Star Fox Zero will launch exclusively for Wii U on April 22, and is said to support amiibo in some fashion. Unfortunately, Nintendo has yet to detail amiibo specifics, but we can expect to hear from them soon.

Early this morning, Nintendo revealed the release date to several new Animal Crossing amiibo which are scheduled to release in March.

Star Fox Zero was announced during Nintendo’s E3 2015 Direct Presentation and was originally scheduled to release last year.
